The Challenge

Insure Instant Quote already had a
clean site. It needed more behind it.

This isn’t a story about a dated, generic-template site. The old site was already modern and mobile-friendly. Before a pixel changed, we went through it page by page anyway - and found six specific things worth fixing.

Search visibility gaps

The hidden layer search engines read only said “Organization” - no insurance agency type, no address or phone on record.

Machine-readable answers were thin

FAQ schema - the format AI assistants can quote directly - was present on only 11 of 48 pages.

Whole coverage categories missing

Medicare, PEO & ASO group health, and a dedicated annuities hub didn’t exist as their own pages.

Guide content scattered, not organized

Guide-style articles lived buried inside individual life insurance pages, never gathered into a library.

Image accessibility gaps

Only about a third of images - 86 of 257 - carried a description search engines can read.

No AI-crawler guidance

No llms.txt file for AI crawlers, and robots.txt never named a single AI bot by name.

The Audit

Before we touched a pixel, we measured.

We saved a copy of the old site and audited it - and we’ll tell you what it did right, too. Here is the honest scorecard, old versus new.

Area
Original site
Rebuilt site
Business type Google can read
Generic Organization only - no address or phone on record
InsuranceAgency, with real name, phone & address
Pages carrying structured data
40 of 48 pages (12 schema types)
128 of 128 pages (18 schema types)
Answers AI can quote (FAQ schema)
Present on 11 of 48 pages
Present on 116 of 128 pages
Every page has one clear heading
8 of 48 pages carry no H1 at all
128 of 128 - exactly one H1 each
Images described for Google
33.5% - 86 of 257 images
96.1% - 347 of 361 images
Canonical URLs
40 of 48 pages
128 of 128 pages
Unique page titles & descriptions
40 of 40 - already in place, credit where due
128 of 128, rewritten for every page
XML sitemap
Present at a nonstandard path - credit where due
Present, standard location, 20.4 KB
llms.txt for AI crawlers
Does not exist - real 404
Present, 35.3 KB
robots.txt names AI bots by name
Generic allow-all - no named AI-bot rules
Names GPTBot, ClaudeBot, PerplexityBot & more
Click-to-call
Present - already in place, credit where due
Kept, backed by a CRM-connected chat widget
Site depth
40 pages, median 895 words per page
128 pages, median 1,455 words per page

Every row above was checked on saved copies of both sites, captured the same day. Where the old site already did something right - unique titles and descriptions, a real sitemap, click-to-call - the table says so. One number that did not change much: homepage HTML weight, 73.6 KB old versus 77.2 KB new. This wasn’t a weight-loss project. It’s roughly the same footprint carrying far more structured, machine-readable content.

The Transformation drag the divider!

Drag the divider. The right side is live.

The left side is a same-day, script-stripped capture of Insure Instant Quote’s old homepage, served from our own files since the old site blocks being framed directly. The right side is the real redesign, live right now. Judge the transformation yourself.

The Scope

This wasn’t a new coat of paint.

Here is what was actually delivered.

Complete site rebuild

The site grew from 40 pages to 128, each with its own title, description and schema.

New coverage categories

Medicare, PEO & ASO group health, and dedicated Annuities and Group Health hubs - categories the old site never had as their own pages.

Guides library

103 in-depth guide articles organized into their own library, covering life insurance, health insurance and annuities.

CRM & automation backend

GoHighLevel wired in behind the site, with complex automations and integrations running every page.

Live chat, tied to the CRM

A chat widget loaded on the homepage and connected to the CRM, so a conversation becomes a tracked lead.

Technical SEO foundation

Canonical URLs, unique titles and meta descriptions, and a real XML sitemap on all 128 pages.

AI-crawler readiness

A 35.3 KB llms.txt file and a robots.txt that names GPTBot, ClaudeBot, PerplexityBot and more, explicitly.

Structured business data

InsuranceAgency schema with the business’s real name, phone and address - not just a generic Organization label.

Built for the Actual Business

One business. Multiple coverage lines.

Instead of one general insurance page, the new site gives each coverage line its own place to sell itself. Tap any of them to compare that page, before and after.

Each card above is a real page on the new site, with its own content and its own structured data behind it.

Launch Readiness

Ready for launch.

No made-up traffic charts. Just what is finished, checked and waiting for the go-ahead.
