Lucia Water Solutions Case Study · Website Transformation

From one page of copy to a bilingual local library.

A complete website rebuild for Lucia Water Solutions. We took the water treatment company’s existing 12-page site and rebuilt it as a 66-page site, in English and Spanish, with its own page for every town, county and service it offers.

The Challenge

Lucia Water Solutions had a solid little site.
It just wasn’t built to be found.

Before a pixel changed, we went through the old site page by page. It was well built for what it was. Six things kept it from reaching everyone it could.

English only

No Spanish version at all, in a service area where the company itself advertises bilingual technicians.

One page for 15 towns

Every county and town the company serves was listed in a single paragraph on one page, with no dedicated local content.

Services blended together

Six different services shared one page. None had its own URL, its own schema, or a real chance to rank on its own.

The same page title, ten times

Ten of the site’s twelve pages shared one identical title tag and meta description - a duplicate-content flag Google penalizes.

A single-step booking form

One form, one step, no phone formatting, and no backup plan if the submission ever failed silently.

No AI-readable page mirrors

An llms.txt file pointed AI crawlers at the site, but no page had a plain-text version for them to actually read.

The Audit

Before we touched a pixel, we measured.

We saved a copy of the old site and audited it - and we’ll tell you what it did right, too. Here is the honest scorecard, old versus new.

Every row above was checked on saved copies of both sites, captured the same day. Where the old site already did something right - canonicals, alt text, even an AI-facing llms.txt file - the table says so.

The Transformation drag the divider!

Drag the divider. The right side is live.

The old site blocks embedding outright (it sends frame-ancestors: none), so the left side is a same-day, same-origin snapshot of the exact page - not a screenshot, the real markup. The right side is the redesign, live right now. Judge the transformation yourself.

Still → In Motion

The old site never moved. Parts of the new one do.

The old site is built entirely from still images and gradients - no video anywhere. The new site carries real, licensed background motion behind its hero and key sections. Drag the example to compare.

Five background video scenes run across the new site in total; two are shown here as real, verified examples rather than a claim that every old photo became a video.

Mobile First

Most homeowners search for this
on a phone, not a desktop.

So the redesign was built for the phone first. Both screens are same-day captures at iPhone size, panned to show what actually scrolls past on a real phone.

The Scope

This wasn’t a new coat of paint.

Here is what was actually delivered inside the 48 hours.

Complete bilingual redesign

All 66 pages - 33 English, 33 Spanish - designed around Lucia’s brand, not a template with new colors.

Custom mobile experience

Layouts tuned separately for small screens, where most homeowners actually search.

High-tech booking form

A multi-step wizard with a phone country-code selector, routed straight into the CRM - and failed leads are captured and retried automatically.

Custom visual assets

Real service photography from the business’s own work, not stock.

Live background video

Real, licensed water motion behind the hero and key sections - the old site had none.

Technical SEO foundation

Titles, descriptions, headings, canonicals, sitemap and robots directives on all 66 pages.

Local search structure

15 individual town and county service-area pages, each written for its own local search.

AI-readable answers

56 pages of structured FAQ data plus a markdown mirror of every page for AI crawlers.

Built for the Actual Business

One business. Every service, its own page.

Instead of one generic services page, the new site gives each part of the business its own place to explain itself. Tap any of them to compare that page, before and after.

Each card above is a real page on the new site, with its own content and its own path to book a test.

Ready for launch.

No made-up traffic charts. Just what is finished, checked and waiting for the go-ahead.
