Case Study · Built From Zero

From no website to a 9-widget
lead system
.

Stateside Insurance Group didn’t have a website. Not an old one, not a dated one - none at all. Launch Automation built independent broker Derek Ranes a live site from scratch with 9 separate interactive application widgets, one for every coverage type, real-time booking, and a live Google review feed - all wired straight into GoHighLevel with automations.

The Starting Point

Derek had clients.
He just didn’t have a website.

This wasn’t a redesign. There was nothing to redesign - the domain didn’t resolve to anything. Here is what that actually meant, day to day.

No web presence at all

Referrals and Google Business carried the practice - there was no site to send a prospect to.

No way to compare 9 coverage options

Term life, whole life, IUL, annuities, FIA, final expense, mortgage protection, ACA health and Medicare - nowhere for a prospect to see them explained side by side.

No way to apply online

Starting an application for a specific policy meant a phone call first - there was no self-serve path.

Invisible to search & AI

Nothing declared Derek as a licensed insurance broker in the hidden layer Google and AI assistants read - because nothing existed to declare it.

No published way to book

Booking a free consultation meant already having Derek’s number - there was no scheduling page.

Nothing built for a phone

No mobile experience, because there was no experience to make mobile.

What We Measured

There was no old site to compare against.
So the “before” column is just true.

Every row on the right was measured on the live production site. Every row on the left is simply what did not exist yet.

There is no archived old site because there was no old site. Every “Now, live” figure above was measured directly against the live production site on 2026-09-01. In the interest of full accuracy: robots.txt and llms.txt are live but currently empty, and the sitemap still lists 9 legacy per-product URLs from before those sections were folded into the homepage - both are quick, minor housekeeping items, not things that affect the site today.

The Build drag the divider!

There was nothing to put on the left.
So we said so - drag to see what replaced it.

The right side is the real, live production site, playing right now. Nothing on the left is a screenshot of an old website, because none existed.

No Website Existedstatesideinsurancegroup.com didn’t resolve to anything before this build. Referrals and a Google Business listing were the entire digital presence.

The Contact System

One button says “Apply.” Nine different systems sit behind it.

Most sites get one generic contact form. This one got nine - a dedicated, live application widget for every coverage type, each sitting directly under its own plain-English explainer. Tap any product below to open its real, live application widget.

LIVE WIDGETTERM LIFE

it's real, try it  The Term Life application widget, embedded exactly as it runs on the live site. Tap a card below to swap it for any of the other 8.

Beyond the nine widgets above: a general application form, a real-time booking calendar, a recruiting form on the Become an Agent page, and a live Google review feed pulled straight from the business’s own profile. Every one of them writes into GoHighLevel, where automations take it from there.

Mobile First

For most prospects, the first look
happens on a phone.

So the site was built for the phone first. The left screen shows what a phone found before this build - nothing. The right screen is a same-day capture of the live production site, panning end to end at phone size the way a visitor actually scrolls it.

The right phone above is a same-day capture of the real, live site at iPhone size, panning through the page the way a visitor actually scrolls it. On the live site itself, the mobile page genuinely scrolls end to end - it is not a shrunk desktop layout - and a sticky bottom bar keeps Call and Start My Application one tap away no matter how far down the page you are.

The Scope

One broker, a complete lead system.

Here is what was actually delivered - not a template with new colors.

Complete site build

A live, production website designed around the Stateside brand - built from a blank domain.

9 application widgets

One dedicated, interactive widget per coverage type - not a single generic form.

Real-time booking

A live scheduling widget lets a prospect book a free consultation without a phone call.

Live review feed

Real Google reviews, pulled straight from the business profile - never edited.

GoHighLevel automations

Every widget, form and booking writes into GoHighLevel, where follow-up runs on its own.

Structured business data

InsuranceAgency, Person and 9 Service records written in the format Google reads.

AI-readable answers

50 structured FAQ answers across 10 topic tabs, so assistants can quote them.

Mobile-first build

A genuinely scrollable phone experience with a sticky call-and-apply bar.

Built for the Actual Business

One broker. Nine ways to say yes.

Instead of one generic homepage, the site gives each coverage type its own way to apply. Tap any of them to open the real, live page or widget.

Each card above opens a real, live page or a real, live application widget - full screen.

The Math

What would a project like this
normally cost?

Published industry pricing puts a custom small business website at $2,000 to $8,000, built by an agency. GoHighLevel’s own official starter plan alone runs $97 a month - before a single page is designed or a single widget is built. This build shipped a full site, 9 interactive application widgets and a wired-up automation platform for one monthly number.

The traditional route

Most builds either have a low or no build fee and a lower monthly fee. This one bundled a full automation platform into the monthly number from day one.

How It Works

Starting from zero, or replacing something old? Three steps.

1

Tell us about your business

No existing site required. Tell us what you do and who you serve - that’s the whole assignment.

2

We design and build everything

The site, the structured data, and - when it fits the business - the automations behind it, built around what you actually do.

3

Review privately, then go live

You see everything at a private link before anything goes live to the public.

What could we build for your business?
